That gave us a long list, and then we cut.
An agency had to pass 5 checks to stay:
- It has a live website today. That's not a given. One agency from the previous version of this list now redirects to a social profile.
- Framer has published its work. An Expert or Studio profile, a Gallery project, a Story or an Award. An agency can write anything on its own site; Framer only lists what it has seen.
- A client project confirms the platform. Most agencies put their Framer, Webflow and WordPress work in the same portfolio grid, and "we build websites" isn't the same claim as "we build Framer websites".
- Framer is a real part of the business, not one side project next to 50 builds somewhere else.
- It's better at something than everyone else here. That's what gives you 18 different answers instead of 18 versions of the same one.
Then the ones that passed went to a Lead Designer and a Lead Developer at BRIX Agency, who opened the live client sites and reviewed them the way they review our own team's work.
